Prepared. Experienced. Ready to Deliver.

It’s easy to throw out vague questions meant to distract and frustrate. That isn’t leadership — it’s avoidance.

Members have asked what our approach would look like, and we understand why. After years of uncertainty, people want clarity, direction, and a plan that actually delivers.

The truth is simple: results matter.

For nearly two decades, too many contracts have failed to keep pace with Hawaiʻi’s rising cost of living. Wages have lagged behind real needs. Benefits have been pressured. And agreements have left members vulnerable to contractor givebacks.

We don’t accept that, and we won’t operate that way.

If given the responsibility to lead, contract negotiations will be approached with a higher standard. We will bring in experienced professionals, proven consultants, and labor attorneys who know how to secure strong, competitive agreements in our industry. Preparation will be thorough. Strategy will be deliberate. Expertise will be non‑negotiable.

Our goal is straightforward: better wages, stronger protections, and benefits that reflect the real value of the work performed every day across Hawaiʻi.

We will also take a firmer stance against unnecessary concessions. Our focus is protecting what members have earned, not settling for less. This isn’t about making promises. It’s about building a process that puts members first through preparation, expertise, and accountability.
